eekdog2005: CO2 is a pollutant in bizarro world.
granjuas: Put a plastic bag in your head and find out.

Doesn’t make scientific sense, but funny nonetheless.

Late to the Party

I’m probably the last person to notice this, but if you hover your mouse over xkcd.com comics (here’s one), you get another funny punchline.

They’re like the little margin sketches that you get in the venerable old Tom Toles and Pat Oliphant comics, but tailored for the web.

Web 2.0 is…

The conference has this gimmicky T-shirt where you fill in your own definition. Wisdom of crowds, folksonomies, etc… Here’s my contribution to the cloud:

Web 2.0 is... made of Meat!

If you don’t get it, you should be ashamed of yourself.

From an otherwise okay article on Reuters today:

“If (this jet-stream shift) is going to stop and it just ends up being 70 miles, that’s not a big deal,” he said. “But if it were to continue at the same rate over the next century, then that would amount to a couple of hundred miles (kilometers) and that would start to have significant effects.”
