Kyoto Iced Coffee

I tried it and agree with U-Boat’s assessment:

Someone I met with recently was absolutely raving about Blue Bottle’s Kyoto-style coffee, where cold water is slowly dripped over the grind. Apparently it’s a multi-day process to make a single pitcher. He said it tastes nothing like coffee, and was completely free of the usual rancidity and bitterness of coffee, and was more akin to a fine bourbon. I don’t like coffee, but was still intrigued.

So, there’s a glass of the stuff on my desk, which everyone is welcome to come and sniff or try (I’m perfectly healthy).

It is by far the closest thing to pure poison I have ever drank.

Enjoy!

I guess there are some tastes that one does not really need to acquire.
