Sony Pictures has posted a new promotional image of Spiderman 3. On the site, it’s presented as a Daily Bugle front page. It looks like the rumors are true we’re definitely going to see Venom make an appearance.

also, it’s not that it is literally the venom suit. instead it’s an allusion to venom (all black spiderman…)

Doing a Spiderman movie in which he wears a black suit that doesn’t turn out to try and eat his brains would be a slap in the face to every nerd that has ever walked the earth.

well… if my memory serves me correct… even though that images sorta kinda looks like it may be venom there are some things we should think about… for one… venom did at one point photograph spider-man… he stalked spider-man before his grand entry as a villain. thats what makes the whole photographing thing make sense… ya know when spider-man photographed himself the camera was always stationary. look at the list of villians spider-man had… how many of them were professional photographers…? why is would they hint us with the camera moving… venom may be in this movie… then again… eddie brock is in the movie. topher grace plays him (wtf) but hey i didn’t do the casting. some people may be thinking “well spider-man has spider sense so he’d know if venow was close enough to take a picture… well… spider-man’s spider sense does not detect venom. thats why he was always able to sneak up on spider-man… anyway… we know sandmans in the movie… big deal… we know green goblin’s in the movie (harry)… who cares… but why would they leak this information so soon… unless they were waiting to shock the crowd by bringing them something they’ve been craving for. venom. but… there are talks of making a “venom” movie where venom is the anti-hero and carnage is the villain. but i know i’m getting tired of waiting to see my favorite villain. if he’s not in this one… i think i’m gonna have to pass on the spider-man movie franchise. 2 heros and one villain… hmmm… sandman wasn’t that good of a bad guy. think about it

it dont seem like the pictures blured at all to me…why would they have spider man, in what they call the black suit, in the same exact suit that he wears but black? and exactly what gknot said, if he dosnt “wear a black suit that dosnt turn out to try and eat his brians out…” would fuckin suck! spider dudes right, who cares about sandman…ooh…the green goblin…oh no…or allmost any other person that beefs with him…its all about venom! what would suck tho is if they just used computer animation for venom…i mean, the whole time? that would blow.

Well its already confirmed that Venoms in the flick. plus, hey so what If Venom coats Spideys costume making it look black n white? All that matters is this, Its Frickin Spiderman 3 man!!!!!

this original post was from february. back then, there was no evidence that venom was in the movie. of course, 9 months later we know for sure that venom is in the movie.

well, after much research, i have seen the actual venom for spidey 3. and yes it looks like venom. during somepoint in the movie, peter is ripping off the symbiote and it leaks down onto eddie, completely taking him over. sharp teeth and all folks. f.y.i the reason topher grace was casted as eddie is cause sam raimi wanted someone of tobey’s stature… like a doppleganger. case closed

that photo is real.peter will were the suit for a bit and then rip it off in the church were brock is. brock prays 2 god to kill peter.when peter rips off the suit a bit of the simboite drops on eddie. he falls to the ground and is transformed into venom.(THIS IS ALL TRUE I SAW IT ON YOUTUBE BUT WAS EMEDIETLY SURE IT WWAS REAL,U CAN CHECK IT OUT URSELF!)

Is it just me or does everyone here know nothing of the spiderman storyline? Spiderman wore the symbiote that makes Eddie Brock into Venom before Eddie Brock did, and then cast it off of him when he realized that the suit was trying to permanently bond with him. The suit hates Peter Parker beause he rejected it, and Eddie Brock hates Peter Parker because he caused him to lose his job. He walks into the church with the giant bell to ask god for forgiveness because he is going to kill himself because he cannot get another job and his life in general is going down the tiolet and the symbiote drips down from the bell tower where Peter is tearing it off of his body (due to the sound from the church bell) and the dying suit drips onto Brock and bonds with him due to his mutual hatred of Peter.

Venom is buff. he is not going to be as big as the hulk. Venom was’nt that big in the first place. you can complain about topher grace as venom because he plays a nerd in a show but the guy gained 20 pounds of muscle for the role. you guys were complainiing about tobey first as peter parker and people did’nt like it. Well hey it turned out he is the perfect parker look alike. they know what they are doing. Sam was a big spiderman fan when he was young.

the final spiderman 3 trailer came out. you can see it youtube. just type in spiderman 3 final trailer. they show some battle scenes of venom and eddie brock and his symboite mask coming off saying hey parker. Half of harry’s face is melted and skin is covering his right eye. that’s why when they show him on the trailer on the strecther they only show his left side. I also heard rumors Doc Ock comes back at the end, but i doubt it. Olso it looks like part of the city is in black webbing(venom’s) and mary jane is stuck in it.

venom is the ultimate spidey villan- carnage is just a two bit venom- a homicidal maniac with a symbiote- venom is the original badass who is so popular because he has an ovverriding fixation on spiderman unlike most of his adviersaries and will only kill innocents if it means squishing spiderman
I am both glad and displeased that venom is in spiderman 3- on the one hand its venom- the one baddie everyone wants to see- on the other hand hes in spiderman 3- if more are made and im sure they will- if they shove enough money at the cast they will do another one- but seriosly what baddie can replace venom of the remaining baddies the only decent ones are electro, mysterio and the lizard but seriously venom has come, although a avid spiderman fan they could have left it at a cliffhanger with venom forming at the end of spiderman 3 to continue in 4
any future film will be entertaining but kind of like driving a bmw after having just driven an lambourghini or a ferrari after venom has appeared- all other villains hed outshadow.
all the others could appear as possible sidecick goons like shocker or the scorpion
as for topher grace playing venom i was thinking theyt werte mad but as it turns out he looks alright- but the question will be in watching the film- can he truly appear like venom does in the comics- i for one have already booked my tickets for it and cant wait till next friday
