One-Fifth of Human Genes Have Been Patented, Study Reveals
National Geographic: with 20% of human genes reserved for commercial use by one corporation or another, the precedents being set are as numerous as the potential applications. Unfortunately the rewards of both will be at the discretion of the highest bidders.
